A Little Bit About a Lot of Things

A lifestyle blog with a focus on my food adventures

This past weekend we headed out to Lawrence to the Vineyard Vines Warehouse sale. I received an email about it, they are running through March 3rd. They are open Monday-Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 12-6.  It is located at 15 Union Street, on the second floor. When you pull into the back parking lot it is a little confusing as to where you are supposed to park. All the buildings are warehouses, and to be honest, look a little sketchy.

There are all these signs to direct you to where you need to go. There are a lot of clothes at the sale – shirts, shorts, bathing suits for men, flip flops, dresses, sweaters etc. A lot of the items that are there are also in the sale section of the website. I went hoping to stock up on flip flops. They had the cute patterned ones in sizes 5 and 6 women’s, which run a size smaller than your regular size, and the rest were just boring tan. They had lots of clothes heaped up on tables, you have to be in the mood to sift. There aren’t any dressing rooms or mirrors, so bring a friend or know what you want ahead of time. They do not have any tote bags or other accessories. They do accept credit cards, but all sales are final. Everything is 40% of the lowest ticketed price.

I picked up this bow top in black or “squid” for $29.99. On the website, in the sale section, you can pick it up for $34.99. (Photo courtesy of Vineyard Vines)

I also picked up this great carolling sweater, that is no longer on the website, in squidink. It’s a merino wool/cashmere blend, originally retailing for $134.99 that I picked up for $80.99.

If you have the free time, you should go and check it out, but if you’re tight on time, you might want to just shop the sale on the website, the prices for my stuff wasn’t that much more of a deal.
