A Little Bit About a Lot of Things

A lifestyle blog with a focus on my food adventures

Located in a small strip mall, Station 5 Grille is a hidden gem. The owner is a fireman, thus the name and the decor. They’re open at 7am, so great for families who have kids who are up early. We went late morning and the place was packed – not even a free seat at the counter!

They are only open for breakfast and lunch and are CASH ONLY, so don’t forget to stop at the ATM before you stop in. Omelettes are delicious here and will run you about $8-$9. They are served with potatoes and toast. I was in the mood for something a little sweet so I had the raisin toast which was a nice change of pace. In addition, they serve pancakes (buttermilk, blueberry, chocolate chip and sweet potato), waffles, French toast, Texas French toast, breakfast wraps and hash. They have a kids menu for those under 10 that are all around $5. Make sure to try one of their homemade muffins!

Lunch is a mix of sandwiches, wraps, soups, salads and burgers. Service was good and they had us in and out pretty quickly.
