A Little Bit About a Lot of Things

A lifestyle blog with a focus on my food adventures

Our second stop before heading out of town is Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit. I wish we had come here for breakfast yesterday because they had delicious sounding specials – they had a breakfast sandwich with crab meat that had my mouth watering while I was waiting in line. The small shop has the specials handwritten on butcher paper on the wall – super cute. Did you know that they make the biscuits by hand?

If you’re dying for these biscuits but can’t get to Charleston, you can order them off the website, they come frozen and you just pop them in the oven!

They are sold in pairs – so we had two of the buttermilk biscuits, super tiny and light, it melted in your mouth. Add on some salty butter or jam to one of these and it is a little slice of heaven in your mouth.

While the buttermilk biscuits were delicious, the blackberry jam biscuits brought things to a whole new level. By far my favorite, these jam filled biscuits have just enough sweetness in them to satisfy that craving.
