A Little Bit About a Lot of Things

In the past, and on this blog, I have given Treat a hard time. A friend of mine dropped off some cupcakes from the new location in Chestnut Hill. Who am I to pass up a cupcake taste test? OK twist my arm..

Peanut Butter Overload: Chocolate Cake/ PB Cups/ PB Frosting/ Ganache.  This had a really nice peanut butter flavor, and I’m not usually a chocolate cake kind of gal, but this was tasty.

Needham Cream Pie: Gold Cake/Vanilla Filling/Chocolate Frosting. I have to say that these cupcakes are presented to nicely – they make you salivate when you look at them.

Funky Chunky Oreo: Chocolate Cake with Oreos/Chunky Oreo Frosting/Ganache.

All the cupcakes were very fresh – I was pleasantly surprised. The oreo was my favorite, by far, so decadent!  While I don’t crave these cupcakes, they were quite tasty – they have certainly moved up on my list.
