A Little Bit About a Lot of Things

A lifestyle blog with a focus on my food adventures

We decided to go out to Burlington one Saturday afternoon around noontime. Bobby’s Burger Palace is located in the Burlington Mall. We had a bit of trouble finding it, as we couldn’t find an entrance from inside the mall-you have to walk outside. It is located near Sears, across from Legal Sea Foods.

The interior has a retro flair to it, from the curved bar to the lime green seats. There are great close up bright photos of food on the walls. You order at the register an grab a seat. The food runners find you by your number plaque, and bring you your food. Everyone from the cashiers taking your order, to the people wiping down the tables when you leave are really friendly.

You can get any burger “crunchified” which means they add potato chips on top. They have some great beverages to choose from, margaritas, beer, and “spiked” shakes. I had a regular vanilla shake but they come in great flavors like dark chocolate, mango and pistachio. Classic milkshakes go for $5 each.

I have to admit it looked small when it came, but by the end of the meal, I wouldn’t have been able to finish it if it were any larger. It was super thick and creamy, I had mine straight up, but you can add on fresh whipped cream for no extra charge.

The beef crunch user ($6.75) comes wi double American cheese, which I substituted wi provolone. You smooth down the chips to make it more lady like and to get the burger to a size that you can actually fit into your mouth, but it’s not pretty. If you’re trying to impress someone on a first date, you may want to choose someplace else.

This is a classic beef burger that we crunchified ($6.75), which comes with lettuce, tomato and onion. All burgers are made medium unless you request otherwise.

We ordered a side of fries ($3) that comes with a side of BBP fry sauce. They also have chipotle ketchup, regular ketchup, and a steak sauce on the table.

We also ordered the onion rings ($3) which are ENORMOUS! They are lightly battered and crispy….really tasty. I ended up bringing 3/4 of them home.
